Murray Franklyn - Northwest Home Builders
Designed and partially developed a new website for Murray Franklyn Family of Companies. The new website design included new aspects such as responsive design, log-in system, favorite system, user profiles, galleries, videos, and a cohesive overall look.

Designing for such a large scale site with a large amount of content was exciting and challenging. After multiple mocks, I then developed a protype website to hand over to our back-end developers. With this team of back-end developers this site is now run through mojoPortal from a database inside the company. Instead of hand-coding each new community as they become available, this new system was designed to make content management a breeze as well as making the site information as accurate and up-to-date as possible.

The Weatherford Apartments in Seattle, WA is a modern luxury apartment building with amazing views of the city and a great location. With this site, I wanted to keep the focus on the images. This building is beautiful and clean, so the site was built to match. With the main focus being the view immediately when you come to the site, the rest of the site is meant to show the stunning features of these apartments.

Adding the pop of orange and abstract layout of images and colors, allows for great mobile and tablet views while still getting the same site feeling. The Weatherford website sticks to the building theme and allows for site exploration.

Terravita - Seattle Apartments

Terravita Seattle Apartments are located in Captiol Hill and this large complex is know for its location. This site was built to allow users to get to all information quickly and efficently and find all they need to know in one place.

A big pull for this building is its location, knowing this I used a plug-in to make a great community map showing what is nearby and giving the use the ability to categorize and narrow down their search. This site also has 42 different floorplans offered to residents. By using a show-hide features we are able to see different categorized plans on this single page.

Internal Portal
I designed this portal for internal use to show sensitive and important information quick and easily in one area.

I have designed this portal to have a fixed left nav and scrolling information on the right. A single page site would not work for this amount of information. This is another mojoPortal site that based on internal information was developed by back-end developers.

Project - Flowers In Balboa Park, San Diego
As a class project, we were told to make an informational site about anything we would like. I decided to make mine about the types of flowers in Balboa Park, San Diego. It was a great learning experience to be able to create a fun site where I had full creative license.

I enjoyed designing and developing this colorful but still simple/clean site. I believe the color bars give a unique look and allow for easy responsive development.

Jack-In-The-Box Corporate | Web Design Internship
During my final semester in college, I worked as a web design intern in Jack's University at Jack in the Box Corporate. This internship was an amazing experience and gave me the opportunity to grow and learn as a developer. Jack's University is a great part of Jack in the Box because they believe learning should never stop which is an ideal that I fully agree with. The team I worked with was a combination of creative and development. It was the beginning of me seeing what I want to pursue, creative and development - combined.

Over my semester at Jack-In-The-Box, I delved into Foundation. This opportunity allowed me to teach myself the ins and outs of Foundation and get a grasp on grids. I made my first foundation site here, it was a prototype of how Jack-In-The-Box could take their field employee training entirely online.

Internal Directory

One of my first projects at Murray Franklyn was to build an internal directory that allowed staff easy access to information and links.
Using the two sided navigation, I designed and developed this site to hold minimal content but numerous links. With the most used links on the right, the left navigation includes drop-downs to categorize and hold many paths. This site has been very successful within the company and has been effective in its purpose while still allowing for beautiful design and captivating images.
